Chameleon lover
Shed your pretty skin
Show me your true colors
And what lies within
Shifting, changing
Alter your love for mine
Be my perfect lover
Oh, crafty chameleon
Colors fading, shifting ends
Perfect o- you cease to be
Chameleon lover has lost
The lust and love for me
What happened, dear Chameleon?
Colorful love gone awry
You altered your skin and
Lost sight of what lies within

Oh no, tis not true fairest of confusion,
These petals folded but await to greet the sun.
Colors which draw the bees to nectars desire,
Stay but briefly once past summers fire.
Snow blankets safely the seeds of life,
Oh how quietly the night seeks to entice.
Alas the hope of tomorrow can not see,
The diamond sky that stretches for eternity.
Love, Me
