Scratches & Scribbles

I haven't written much of anything lately, partly due to the fact that I can't find my notebook... Which is irking me to no end. However, a phrase came into my head yesterday- and I quite like it. Perhaps soon I'll turn it into something worthwhile.

I'm speaking in words I barely know
Trying to convey a feeling I've never felt before.

Hmm.

So this is love.

OLD WRITINGS

I was skimming through old MySpace blogs (don't ask me why), but I found a few things that I'd written and completely forgot about. So naturally I'm going to post them here.

She waits for what she could never have
That which only time can give.
It's been so long
She'd forgotten
That feeling of bliss.
While storms rage behind her

Filled with love.

November 24th 2006
Silence of the night
Broken only by their breath
The lust in the air
Like a thick fog enveloping them
Hearts racing, the world forgotten
The soft touch of calloused fingers
Her kiss on his lips- sharp but sweet
The bliss unknown
The intimacy unrivaled
The night belongs to us.

The Kiss

It was an abnormally cold night, with the sky coated in grey clouds.
No moon shone, nor stars.
They stood outside to say their goodbyes.
She leaned against her car.
He was standing before her.
Teasing him about lust and love.
Blushing cheeks, heartfelt laughter.
Surprise and butterflies.
He took her face in his hands-
And kissed her.
With that she was content.

I can't come up with anything else that doesn't sound gay right now. But this line came into my head as I was cleaning the kitchen and pondering. Maybe one day I'll come up with lines to do it justice.
